Diagnosis, staging, treatment

I was born in the US, lived in the UK and now in Spain.

In October 2014 (our anniversary!), I received the diagnosis of Stage IIb, grade 2 breast cancer. Bummer.

Treatment: lumpectomy and removal of 5 sentinel nodes (2 involved). 4 cycles of AC chemo every 21 days, followed by one of the taxanes (Taxol or Taxotere, not sure yet), followed by 21 radiation treatments.

What a loada fun!
